We were set up to promote Independent Living for Disabled People.

We have first hand knowledge and considerable experience, and the organisation is run by working disabled members of society. Martin Yates has been an Independent Living Consultant since 1990 and has contributed and drawn upon his own personal experience of receiving Direct Payments, andits impact on his Independence and his successful Career. Also Working in partnership with Universities providing learning opportunities for student social workers. Martin has also written a book which details his experience and current legislation.
